Kaem Lueang Benjarong Betta Fish

       "Kaem Lueang" is the character of the Gill cover. While the flaring will have a yellow part protruding to make it look like a bigger body which is the meaning in Thai is "Yellow cheeks"

      "Benjarong" is the comparison of the tones of yellow in the Gill cover that has yellow tone with primary color of Thai Benjarong Ceramics which is one of the 5 primary colors.

       Kaem Lueang Benjarong Betta Fish is happened by chance which is caused by mutation of Kaem Daeng Benjarong Betta Fish from red to yellow. The mutation in the first generation in yellow looks quite pale.

       After that, has been breed further in later generations making it a more vibrant yellow but still retains the unique of the original species which is Betta splendens Regan, 1910.
